Bidgely is bringing its global insights tour to London from 10 to 12 June as part of its International EmPOWER AI conference series.
The London forum is part of a wider international tour that also spans Toronto and New York, positioning the event as a key stop for energy industry leaders.
The conference is designed as a collaborative hub for energy retailers seeking to lead on electrification, load flexibility, customer experience and energy affordability.
Custom workshops and peer-to-peer dialogues will form the backbone of the event, exploring how artificial intelligence unlocks customer insights needed to modernise the grid.
Premiering alongside EmPOWER AI London is a new joint report with energy research firm LCP Delta, titled “Home Asset Identification.”
The report benchmarks available approaches for identifying assets such as heat pumps, electric vehicles, solar PV and more, validating AI-powered data analytics over standard statistical approximations or hardware-based monitoring.
LCP Delta’s head of customer insight, David Trevithick, will present findings from the firm’s behavioural demand response research at the event.
“As home asset uptake increases, household demand profiles become more distinctive and variable, unlocking greater opportunities for retailers to identify assets, target smart tariffs and flexibility propositions more effectively, improve demand forecasting and boost customer retention,” said Trevithick.
One workshop will highlight how a leading energy provider successfully targeted high-peak users and achieved a 3X increase in kilowatt-reduction per vehicle compared to the average electric vehicle population.
A separate session focused on call centre modernisation will demonstrate real-world results including a seven percent increase in customer satisfaction and a three percent reduction in average call handle time.
Attendees will also see how integrating AI insights into call resolution workflows can deliver an 85 to 95 percent confidence rating from customer service representatives.
Bidgely will also debut new Interactive Voice Response integrations with PolyAI, Genesys and NiCE, using conversational AI to resolve complex energy questions in real time while reducing wait times and operational costs.
A load flexibility workshop will present a case study of an energy provider that achieved over 70 percent reduction from high-peak-usage customers by optimising variable pricing programmes.
A session on energy affordability will showcase how Bidgely’s Analytics Workbench was used to uncover over 8,200 hidden low-income candidates, achieving a 2.3 percent conversion rate from a single marketing touchpoint.
The affordability workshop will also cover how doubling home energy audit capacity helped connect more customers with energy efficiency rebates.
“EmPOWER AI London isn’t just a look at the future of energy, it’s where we actively build it,” said Abhay Gupta, CEO of Bidgely, adding that the grid transition requires bold action and intelligent data.
Bidgely describes itself as a pioneer of AI-powered energy intelligence, serving over 50 million homes and holding 19 foundational patents through its UtilityAI Platform.
