Fake Marketing Agency ‘Haxes Tech’ and Freelancer Muskan Khan Scam News Sites

While Haxes Tech and Muskan Khan continue to operate under the radar, a growing number of online communities are actively compiling lists of known scammers to help others avoid falling victim.

A growing number of bloggers and website owners have reported being scammed by a fake marketing and SEO agency known as Haxes Tech and an individual operating under the name Muskan Khan.

The duo allegedly approach digital publishers with offers to buy sponsored content placements and display advertising on their sites, promising prompt payment after the content is published. However, victims claim that once the content goes live, the promised payments are never made.

According to multiple accounts shared by affected site owners, Haxes Tech presents itself as a legitimate SEO agency offering to purchase backlinks, guest posts, or advertising space on niche blogs and websites. The offers often appear professional, and the emails typically include company branding, payment terms, and even fake contracts.

The freelancer, Muskan Khan, reportedly acts as the outreach coordinator and main point of contact. Victims say she is persistent, polite, and communicates clearly—often enough to build trust with blog owners and editors.

“She seemed completely legitimate at first,” said one blogger who asked to remain anonymous. “She sent over clear guidelines, confirmed pricing, and even pushed for quick publishing. But once the article went up, she ghosted me.”

Several bloggers have shared screenshots of email conversations with Muskan Khan and Haxes Tech, revealing a consistent pattern: they agree to pay for a post or ad slot, request the link to be published quickly, and then disappear without making payment.

Some webmasters say they’ve attempted to follow up, only to find the company’s website is vague or non-functional, and their contact information leads nowhere. Others have attempted to warn fellow site owners in online forums and private groups for bloggers and digital marketers.

“This is a classic post-payment scam,” one digital marketer noted. “They’re relying on the fact that many bloggers trust first, especially when the sender sounds professional and communicates well.”

The deception has raised alarms across the digital publishing community, with calls for increased awareness around post-payment agreements for sponsored content.

Website owners are now being urged to request full or partial payment upfront and verify the legitimacy of outreach agents or marketing firms before agreeing to publish any content.
