Formula 1 is expanding a high-end hospitality concept that sees wealthy guests dine aboard a travelling dining room attached to an articulated lorry driving around the circuit.
The experience, called The Out Lap, made its debut at Spa before the summer break and sold out entirely, prompting organisers to extend the concept to further races.
The concept will continue at Zandvoort, Monza and Madrid, making it a fixture across some of the most prestigious circuits on the Formula 1 calendar.
Tickets are priced at over £10,000 per head, with just 12 guests accommodated per experience inside the specially designed dining room.
Former racing drivers David Coulthard, Mika Hakkinen and Naomi Schiff join guests aboard the lorry, offering insights between courses as it navigates the track.
The experience is born out of the landmark partnership between Formula 1 and LVMH subsidiary Moet Hennessy, which last year signed a decade-long deal with the sport worth $1bn.
Formula 1 said the development is “born from the long-term partnership” with Moet Hennessy, framing The Out Lap as a natural extension of that commercial relationship.
“For decades, Formula 1 has captivated audiences through the intensity of competition and the pursuit of performance,” F1 said in a statement about the experience.
“The Out Lap offers a new perspective on this world. One that celebrates not only the race itself, but also the heritage, the culture and human stories that have shaped sport across generations.”
Formula 1 added that “by inviting guests onto the circuit rather than simply alongside it, the experience transforms the venue into a unique stage to create living memories.”
The Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort is next in line to host The Out Lap, with the lorry set to navigate the circuit’s well-known undulating, banked corners.
Demand for Formula 1 hospitality has never been stronger, with premium packages becoming among the most sought-after tickets across any race weekend on the calendar.
Attendance records were broken at a number of Grands Prix held before the traditional mid-season break, underlining the sport’s continued commercial momentum.
Italian Kimi Antonelli currently leads the Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship standings, ahead of Brits Lewis Hamilton and George Russell as the second half of the season gets underway.
