The 46th annual ILTACON is underway, bringing together thousands of legal technology professionals for a packed day of sessions, networking, and activities.
This year’s conference features more than 80 panels and educational sessions, dozens of sponsors, and an extensive schedule of events running throughout the day.
More than 5,300 attendees are expected at the conference, making it one of the largest gatherings in the legal technology calendar.
ILTA CEO Joy Heath Rush recently joked that the organisation may need to build new hotel rooms to accommodate the growing number of participants attending each year.
The scale of this year’s event reflects just how rapidly the legal tech world continues to expand, with new sponsors and exhibitors joining an already stacked roster.
Among the sponsors present at the event are Neostella, DocStyle, and Ajax, all of whom will be meeting with delegates throughout the conference.
The ILTACON Shuttle Service, presented by Legora, will operate with pick-up and drop-off at the Magnolia Canopy running from 11am through to 9pm.
The Ask ILTA desk is stationed in the Delta BCD Lobby from noon until 8:30pm, where attendees can also collect complimentary official T-shirts and bags on a first-come, first-served basis.
The swag shop will also operate from the lobby, giving attendees the chance to pick up official ILTA merchandise throughout the day.
A Lessons in Leadership Book Launch and Signing is scheduled at the Delta Pavilion from 7:30 until 9, alongside Morning Light-Bites in the Delta Ballroom Lobby.
The Exhibit Hall opens during a coffee break in Ryman A from 10 until 10:30, with the hall itself remaining open until 6pm for delegates to explore.
Sessions including Triumph Through Challenges: Cultivating Resilience in Life and Work and Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway Continued are among the morning’s headline offerings.
The Wellness Window, presented by Harvey, will be available in the Delta BCD Lobby from 10:30 until 3pm, featuring healthy snacks and hydration drinks for attendees.
Afternoon sessions include Why Smart People Resist Change and How to Lead It When Change Never Stops, along with a series of company master classes running across multiple rooms.
Later sessions covering AI-Powered Practice Group Transformation, data lakehouses for AI, and human-centred AI adoption will run from 3:30 until 4:30, reflecting the industry’s sharp focus on artificial intelligence.
The day concludes with Next Gen Game Night in Magnolia Mezzanine from 9 until 11pm, offering delegates a social close to an intensive opening day.
