Reactive Network recently announced Rogues Studio as the latest recipient of its $3M Developer Fund initiative — a program designed to support pioneering teams building with Reactive Smart Contracts.
With roots at Blizzard, Bethesda, and Gameloft, the Rogues Studio team brings deep industry expertise and a strong player-first ethos to the forefront of Web3 gaming.
Their flagship project, World of Rogues, is a multiplayer survival MMORPG that seamlessly integrates blockchain without compromising gameplay. Now in Alpha, the game has already logged over 24,000 testing sessions and boasts a remarkable 18%+ player retention rate. Backed by a passionate community of 35,000+ and a digital collectible drop that sold out in minutes, World of Rogues is setting a new bar for Web3-native game design.
The collaboration centers around leveraging Reactive Smart Contracts (RSCs) to build a fully on-chain daily streak reward system, which automatically distributes NFTs to players based on in-game activity — with no wallet friction, no gas headaches, and full multichain compatibility.
By separating streak logic from reward minting, Rogues Studio can optimize for low-cost event tracking and high-visibility NFT drops on any supported chain.
“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Rogues Studio to our DevFund initiative,” said Emilijus Pranckus, Ecosystem Head at Reactive Network. “They’re a super solid team, building a great-looking game and staying true to their values regardless of market sentiment. This is the kind of project that shows what Reactive is really capable of — making blockchain feel invisible, while adding real value to the player experience.”
Reactive Network is redefining how developers interact with smart contracts by enabling event-driven, interoperable, and scalable applications. It allows contracts to listen for external blockchain events and autonomously trigger logic across chains — unlocking new design space for games, DeFi, and beyond.
As one of the first mainnet deployments of the Reactive DevFund, World of Rogues is an example of how game developers can bring Web2-level UX into Web3 — where gameplay is king, and blockchain works quietly behind the scenes.
