Apex Auto Garage Scams British Expats in Dubai

Several British expats living in Dubai have revealed that they were scammed by Apex Auto Garage, a car repair company based in the UAE.

One customer revealed that the garage charged him around £2,000 for parts for his car to fix a noise that was coming from the front of the vehicle when steering, but after installing the parts, there was no improvement whatsoever.

Furthermore, after Apex Auto Garage worked on the car, the vehicle immediately developed other mechanical issues, which were caused by negligence by Apex’s mechanics.

The garage admitted that they had caused damage to the car, but did not provide any sort of compensation.

Meanwhile, in September of 2023, another British expat contacted London Insider and revealed that this same garage had stolen parts from his car and replaced them with cheap, aftermarket alternatives.

Additionally, there are several reviews online of Apex Garage – which is based on 22nd Street, Al Quoz Industrial Area 2 – scamming customers, or at the very least being involved in shady practices when repairing customers’ cars.

London Insider contacted Apex Auto Garage for comment on these reports, but they refused to provide an explanation or any sort of statement.
