According to recent reports, both Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the talented young midfielder Gabri Veiga from Celta Vigo during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old midfielder Gabri Veiga has been having an exceptional second half of the season, and has emerged as one of the most promising talents currently playing in LaLiga.

AS, a Spanish media outlet, reports that Mikel Arteta and Erik ten Hag are among the admirers of this “revelation”.

Veiga’s rise to prominence has been impressive, especially considering that he did not have a squad number at the beginning of the season. However, he managed to force his way into the first team fold at the turn of the year.

Viego’s noteworthy performance for Celta Vigo have not gone unnoticed, as he is currently the team’s second most significant player in terms of goal contributions, behind former Liverpool player lago Aspas.

It is not just Arsenal and Manchester Uniter that are interested in Gabri Veiga, as several other unnamed Premier League clubs are also monitoring his situation at Celta Vigo.

Celta Vigo is confident of receiving a record transfer fee should Gabri Veiga, express his desire to leave the club, despite their interest in keeping him as one of their prized assets.

This is due to Viega’s contract with the club set expire in the summer of 2026, meaning any potential buyers will have to meet Celta’s asking price.

Celta may also face competition from other LaLiga teams, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, who are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of the young midfielder.

According to senior figures within the Spain national team, there are growing expectations that Gabri Veiga will receive his first international cap at the highest level soon, under the guidance of new boss Luis de la Fuente.
