CEO: ‘Will they once again laud Master Scammer Musk?’

The Dawn Project's founder Dan O'Dowd ripped apart Musk's promises, claiming that Tesla is "not even close to achieving any" of the objectives outlined in Musk's Master Plan.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has been referred to be a “scammer” by Dan O’Dowd, who also branded his “Master Plan” for the automaker to be a bunch of nonsense.

The Dawn Project’s creator Dan O’Dowd attacked Elon Musk’s commitments ahead of his Wednesday announcement of the third installment of his Master Plan series at the company’s Gigafactory in Texas.

Prior to the Investor Day, Tesla said that it would provide information on its next-generation vehicle platforms, which Musk claimed would result in a car that costs around half as much as Tesla’s current models.

But according to O’Dowd, none of the objectives outlined in Musk’s Master Plan Part II, which was published in 2016, have been attained by Tesla.

Musk stated in that proposal that he desired to “Create a low volume car, which would necessarily be expensive. Use that money to develop a medium volume car at a lower price.”

“Use that money to create an affordable, high volume car. And…Provide solar power. No kidding, this has literally been on our website for 10 years.”

With over 40 years of experience in designing and creating secure, safety-critical software, O’Dowd said, “No doubt, on March 1, when Elon Musk publishes his Master Plan Part 3, he will claim to have met all his objectives laid out in Master Plan Part Deux. Then he will announce a new set of worthy goals that he will never achieve.”

“Will people see through him this time, or will they once again laud Master Scammer Musk for the awesome things he can’t do?”

O’Dowd has created operating systems for the fighter jets used by the US military as well as some of the most reputable companies in the world, including NASA, Boeing, and Airbus.
