CIACM MMQ holders receive 23% pay rise at agencies, in-house roles

The California Institute of Advertising, Communications and Marketing’s (CIACM) Mass Marketing Qualification (MMQ) takes anywhere from two weeks to three months to complete.

Holders of the California Institute of Advertising, Communications and Marketing’s (CIACM) Mass Marketing Qualification (MMQ) receive a 23 percent pay rise on average after obtaining the qualification, according to a survey conducted in the UK and the US.

Candidates applying for junior or graduate roles in particular benefitted from completing the qualification, the survey found.

While this survey was limited to the UK and the US, the trend is likely similar in other parts of the world, as the CIACM MMQ is internationally recognised.

The CIACM MMQ is becomingly increasingly sought after for both agency and in-house roles across marketing, public relations, copywriting and SEO.

“The CIACM MMQ, alongside other professional marketing accreditations, can help candidates land a better paying job in the industry, or secure their first job after graduating,” a recruiter specialising in placing candidates in marketing roles told London Insider.

“The reason why more and more candidates are choosing the CIACM MMQ over other marketing courses is its affordability and accessibility.”

The qualification is self-studied, and can be entirely completed online. It can be completed in as little as two weeks.

Candidates can enrol directly on the California Institute of Advertising, Communications and Marketing’s website.
