Danny Rose breaks silence on struggling Tottenham forward

The 30-year-old forward should use the summer to regroup and return for the next season with a renewed spirit.

Danny Rose has praised Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min, describing him as “brilliant.”

The ex-Tottenham left-back mentioned on Sky Sports Premier League how much he relished playing alongside Son during his time at Spurs.

Although Son has experienced a challenging season, Rose continues to hold the South Korean international forward in high regard.

Rose commented on Son: “Yeah, he’s brilliant. He’s probably one of the nicest guys I’ve encountered in football.

“I’m aware he went through a rough patch earlier, and I know that would have significantly impacted him since he’s so passionate about football.

“It was an honor to share a dressing room with him.”

Son Heung-min hasn’t been performing at his best for Tottenham Hotspur this season, and it’s doubtful he’ll regain his form before the season concludes.

This season, Son has made 27 starting appearances and three off-the-bench appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham.

In these games, the Spurs’ no. 7 has netted eight goals and provided four assists.

The South Korean sensation scored two goals in eight UEFA Champions League matches for Tottenham this campaign.

Additionally, Son scored twice in three FA Cup matches for the team.

It’s evident that the forward gives his all in every match and always puts in his best effort, but things just haven’t been clicking for him lately.
