Fabinho told he is ‘done’ at Liverpool

"Liverpool need to get rid of a load to free up the wages," Murphy said on talkSPORT.

Danny Murphy thinks Kostas Tsimikas is “not good enough” to succeed under Jurgen Klopp, and that Fabinho is “done” at the Premier League powerhouse.

After being destroyed by Manchester City on Saturday, Mo Salah, Cody Gakpo, and Virgil van Dijk were benched, and a significantly altered Liverpool team only  managed a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Fernandez, the former Liverpool target who now plays for Chelsea, was in control of the game while Fabinho, barely touched him.

“Fabinho is done,” sais Murphy, a UEFA Cup and FA Cup winner back in 2001.

“Tsimikas is not good enough. Robertson doesn’t worry me in the slightest. Even if he doesn’t play well, he is at it. He would die for you. Roberson, (I would keep) 100 per cent.”

Discussions are said to be conducted regarding players like Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip, and others, while players like Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are practically set to leave.

Murphy is not the only one pushing for significant changes at Anfield; Tsimikas and Fabinho are just two examples of the underwhelming players whose time on Merseyside may be running out.
