Last week’s ILTACON, the annual conference of the International Legal Technology Association, produced one of the busiest news cycles in the event’s recent history.
Product announcements flooded in throughout the week, dominated by two persistent themes: agentic AI and the Model Context Protocol, reflecting broader shifts across the legal technology sector.
Litera announced Firm AI Search and Business Development Intelligence, which the company says turns siloed firm data into new revenue opportunities by giving lawyers natural language access to firm knowledge.
Firm AI Search is accessed through Lito, Litera’s legal AI agent, letting lawyers query matter, client and expertise data directly inside the tools they already use.
Litera also announced a memorandum of understanding to work towards a collaboration with Hotshot, the video-based legal training company, allowing lawyers to access Hotshot subscriptions and training content through Litera CE Manager.
The integration, which will let lawyers discover and take Hotshot courses while tracking completion and eligible credits within CE Manager, is expected to be available by the fourth quarter of this year.
Invoice-to-cash platform Oddr made three announcements at the conference, covering AI-powered collections, cash flow forecasting, and a new Model Context Protocol server.
The Oddr MCP Server lets managing partners and finance leaders ask plain-language questions about DSO, past-due clients and 90-day cash flow through any compatible AI platform, drawing on live billing and forecasting data.
“Law firm finance leaders have been asking for a smarter way to understand their revenue cycle without having to dig through multiple systems,” said Milan Bobde, cofounder and CEO of Oddr. “The Oddr MCP Server changes that. Ask a question, get an answer, take action. It is that simple.”
Intapp is among Oddr’s first integration partners, with the two companies connecting Oddr to Intapp Time and Billstream with Celeste, which they describe as the first end-to-end invoice-to-cash solution for law firms.
TRÄ’ AI launched TRÄ’-D Signals, which it describes as the first business development signal engine built to prove new-matter ROI within a firm’s own financial systems.
“TRÄ’-D Signals brings relevant opportunities to attorneys, drafts communications, and automatically handles the resulting interaction, follow-up, and scheduling with one click,” said CEO Todd Miller, adding the product is designed to generate more matters and revenue with far less effort than traditional CRM tools.
Aderant announced early access availability of its Agent Center, a framework for deploying AI agents across law firm financial and operational workflows, first unveiled at its Momentum Global conference in May.
The Agent Center, built on the company’s Stridyn platform and powered by its MADDI AI layer, now includes seven task-specific agents covering appeals, collections, talent, time, compliance, general ledger forecasting, and billing rates.
“Agent Center reflects a shift we’re seeing across the industry, from isolated automation to intelligent systems that coordinate work across the business,” said Lisa Erickson, SVP of product management and AI at Aderant.
Intapp and Legora separately announced a strategic partnership to deliver governed, AI-native workflows for law firms across three defined integration areas.
Legora will integrate with Intapp Walls for AI so that AI-powered work within Legora respects a firm’s ethical walls, confidentiality obligations, and regulatory requirements, with time-capture and agentic workflow integrations also planned.
Intapp chairman and CEO John Hall said the partnership pairs Legora’s practice-of-law capabilities with Celeste’s business-of-law solutions, with integrations to be delivered in phases.
