Man Utd enter ‘final negotiations’ for Joao Felix as they hunt for Cristiano Ronaldo replacement

Final negotiations to bring Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid to Manchester United have begun.

Next month, the Red Devils want to strengthen their assault, and manager Erik ten Hag has stated that the team is searching for a new striker.

Cody Gakpo of PSV Eindhoven has been closely associated with the team, but there has also been talk that United would be interested in Felix on loan.

The Premier League is now said to be Felix’s likely destination if he decides to leave Atletico during the forthcoming transfer window.

Additionally, United and Arsenal are in the lead for his signature, and talks with his agent Jorge Mendes are currently nearing their conclusion.

No one is competing with Paris Saint-Germain to sign the former Benfica youth player.

According to reports, United and PSV are in negotiations for the transfer of Gakpo. Next month, the Dutchman might be offered for less than £50 million.

Given his outstanding performance this season, the Red Devils’ decision to sign him is an easy one. He has so far contributed to 30 goals for PSV, which is astounding.

Despite this, United should be tempted to sign Felix on a loan for £8 million instead of Arsenal to compete for his talents.

The Portuguese player has long been a favourite of the Red Devils, and last summer they launched a bold bid of £115 million to sign him before choosing to sign Antony.

At that time, Felix was crucial to Atletico, but since the Portuguese player and manager Diego Simeone had a falling out, the situation has altered.
