After the game, he posted a picture to Instagram with the caption “the big team goes through”.

He also made a reference to Pedri and imitated the binocular celebration that the Barcelona midfielder is known for.

The Spain international was replaced in the 2-2 tie last week due to an injury that prevented him from playing in the 2nd leg.

After the game, Xavi Hernandez opined that Pedri’s presence on the park might have changed the outcome.

Garnacho grew up in Spain, played for Atletico Madrid earlier, and may have developed a grudge against Barcelona because of this.

The 18-year-old won’t likely be welcomed with open arms the following times he now visits Camp Nou.
