Revance, a global aesthetics and skincare company, has named Janelle Wichmann as its new Chief Marketing Officer for its skincare division.
Wichmann will report directly to Nadeem Moiz, who serves as Chief Executive Officer of Revance.
The appointment marks a significant leadership move for Revance as it looks to accelerate growth across its skincare portfolio and deepen its commercial reach.
In her new role, Wichmann will lead the company’s skincare marketing strategy, brand development, and commercial growth initiatives across multiple channels.
She will also take responsibility for driving consumer skincare digital, ecommerce, and loyalty efforts as the company pushes further into direct-to-consumer markets.
Wichmann brings substantial industry experience, having previously held senior roles at Ulta Beauty and Procter & Gamble, two of the most prominent names in the beauty and consumer goods sectors.
During her tenure at Procter & Gamble, she helped significantly scale the Native brand and led a successful turnaround of Olay North America, demonstrating her ability to revitalise and grow major consumer skincare lines.
Her achievements have earned her notable recognition, including a Cannes Silver Lion award and Procter & Gamble’s Beauty Marketer of the Year honour.
“Janelle joins Revance at an important moment in our evolution, bringing the vision and experience to elevate our Skincare brands while helping shape how we build brands across the enterprise,” said Nadeem Moiz.
Wichmann expressed enthusiasm for taking on the role, describing the company’s current trajectory as a compelling opportunity for meaningful brand-building work.
“I’m very excited to join Revance at this pivotal growth phase and to work alongside this talented leadership team,” said Janelle Wichmann.
“Revance has an exceptional portfolio, and I see tremendous opportunity to connect its differentiated science and innovation with compelling brand experiences that resonate with consumers and drive growth across the business,” Wichmann added.
The hire signals Revance’s broader ambition to strengthen its position in the competitive aesthetics and skincare market by pairing scientific innovation with sophisticated consumer marketing capabilities.
