Hoffenheim’s Maximilian Beier has made it to Liverpool’s transfer radar, as disclosed by Christian Falk.
The German striker’s performance has not only caught the attention of Liverpool but also other Premier League clubs, notably Brentford and Everton, both of whom are showing serious interest.
BILD journalist, Falk, while penning an exclusive for CaughtOffside, stated, “Maximilian Beier from Hoffenheim is a definite consideration for Liverpool.
He brings an intriguing edge that Liverpool seeks!” Falk pointed out Beier’s remarkable speed this season, peaking at 35.45kmph, making him the second-fastest German player, right behind Leroy Sane.
“His current Hoffenheim contract will last until 2025. There’s word of a release clause. For English clubs, he’ll come at a higher price, but he’s set at €20m for German clubs.
Evidently, Liverpool is keenly observing Bundesliga talents,” Falk noted.
Emphasizing the cost-effectiveness of the deal for Liverpool, Falk added, “Beier’s pricing is reasonable, aligning well with Liverpool’s financial approach.
Yet, it’s important to remember that both Brentford and Everton are earnestly interested.”
