Valeris Names Scott Filosi As Chief Commercial Officer To Drive Growth Strategy

Valeris, the integrated life sciences commercialization company, has appointed Scott Filosi as its new Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately.

Filosi will take responsibility for leading Valeris’s entire commercial organisation, with a sharp focus on accelerating growth and strengthening the company’s execution capabilities across its partner network.

His appointment also carries a mandate to expand partner relationships, a priority area for Valeris as it continues to scale its integrated service model across the life sciences sector.

Filosi brings nearly three decades of commercial leadership experience accumulated across the biopharmaceutical industry, giving him a broad and deep foundation for the role.

His expertise spans market access, pricing, trade, distribution, patient services, and commercial strategy, covering much of the operational landscape that Valeris serves on behalf of its clients.

Most recently, Filosi served as Head of US and Global Market Access, Pricing and Trade at Verona Pharma, where he led high-level strategy across international markets.

Earlier in his career, he held senior commercial leadership roles at Merck KGaA, including positions as US Chief Commercial Officer and Global SVP of Market Access and Pricing.

He also accumulated significant industry experience through leadership positions at UCB Pharma, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Johnson and Johnson, building a career that spans some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical organisations.

Valeris itself was formed through the merger of PharmaCord and Mercalis, combining two established commercialization businesses into a single, fully integrated life sciences partner.

The company works on behalf of life sciences firms to improve the patient experience, helping individuals access and adhere to critical medications when they need them most.

Valeris currently provides commercialization solutions to more than 500 life sciences customers, making it one of the larger players operating in this segment of the pharmaceutical services market.

Across its history, the company has provided access and affordability support to millions of patients, underlining the scale of its operations and the breadth of its client partnerships.

The appointment of a dedicated Chief Commercial Officer signals that Valeris is prioritising commercial momentum as it looks to consolidate its position following the PharmaCord and Mercalis merger.

Filosi’s arrival is expected to bring fresh strategic direction to the organisation at a pivotal point in its development as an integrated commercialization platform.
