What to Expect from the London Casino and Gaming Expo 2025

For gambling enthusiasts in general, LCG aims to provide casino operators with a highly interactive and specialised experience.

Scheduled for January 14th to 16th next year at ExCeL London, the London Casino and Gaming Expo (LCG) is expected to make a distinct mark on the European gaming industry, and will be co-hosted with the European Amusement Expo (EAG). The LCG sets itself apart from larger conferences that mix both online and offline gaming, as it will be focused on showcasing the brick-and-mortar casino industry.

If you’re more of an online casino enthusiast, there are tons of local sites to keep you happy too as the UK is home to one of the largest iGaming markets in the world. These sites offer a safe and secure platform to partake in live casino games, slots, and many other iGaming activities. Without leaving your home, you can fund your account, and enjoy the thrill of perks like instant withdrawals, a wide variety of gaming options, and generous bonuses.

For gambling enthusiasts in general, LCG aims to provide casino operators with a highly interactive and specialised experience, as it’s being organised as an intimate, boutique event. The event organiser, Martin Burlin, has described LCG as a “pocket-sized taster” of the International Casino Exhibition (ICE), which will be held in Barcelona in late January 2025. The London Casino and Gaming Expo empowers leaders from casino brands like Inspired, Novomatic, and Merkur to engage closely with visitors and exhibitors. This will help encourage more meaningful networking and easier access to cutting-edge innovations that are specifically tailored to land-based casinos.

The location of LCG is an ideal destination for operators across North America and Europe. Not to mention, many attendees are looking forward to the quieter atmosphere that LCG offers. Those attending the event can explore products like security solutions, payment systems, and floor technologies without the extensive walking and overwhelming crowds associated with larger expos.

In a press release, the event ambassador Nick Harding stated that many casino operators wanted to continue with a London show. According to Harding, organisers found that many operators wanted a smaller and quieter event while some North American operators liked the convenience of coming to London’s event before heading to the larger expo in Barcelona.

LCG partnering with EAG at ExCeL underscores a strategic alignment of amusement and gaming interests. With this partnership, attendees can explore the crossover between gaming and entertainment while including lower-stake gambling technologies that appeal to both industries. Nicola Lazenby, LCG’s show manager, has noted that this setup has already received a positive response from exhibitors by many brands confirming their participation.

The show manager also highlighted that LCG and EAG will offer visitors make the experience more seamless by removing any physical barriers between the two shows. This will open up opportunities for a more diverse exploration of gaming and amusement solutions. Lazenby believes there’s a natural, growing overlap between the gambling business and amusement industry.

LCG is rapidly establishing itself as an important event within the gaming scene as major European gaming brands continue confirming their attendance. Burlin has gone on to emphasise that LCG is not a competitor of ICE despite the event’s high-profile move to Barcelona. Instead, LCG is a complementary event that is designed as a warmup to the larger experience in Barcelona.

Other events happening in London are eCom Business Live London and Finovate Europe. eCom Business Live London is scheduled for February 26th and 27th 2025 at ExCeL London and offers sessions on e-commerce, financing, and marketing.
