Winston Taylor has officially launched as a single combined firm, bringing together Winston & Strawn and Taylor Wessing’s U.K.-led business under one unified identity.
The newly formed firm positions itself as a premier transatlantic law firm built for the businesses, people, and markets driving capital and innovation globally.
With more than 1,400 lawyers, Winston Taylor spans the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East across 20 offices.
The firm operates across major commercial centres and carries strength in major litigation, critical transactions, strategic IP, and private wealth capabilities.
Key client sectors include technology, media and telecommunications, life sciences and healthcare, financial services, and projects, energy and infrastructure.

The two founding firms bring more than 400 years of combined history to the newly formed entity, reflecting deep institutional expertise across multiple practice areas.

Taylor Wessing UK, founded in 1782, is a Top 20 UK law firm with over 450 lawyers operating across the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East.
Taylor Wessing the Netherlands and Belgium contributes over 100 lawyers and civil-law notaries across Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and Brussels, forming a fully integrated Benelux practice.
