Oleksandr Zinchenko of Arsenal was lauded by Cesc Fabregas on Sky Sports Premier League for his performance against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday night.
Arsenal defeated Manchester United 3-2 at home in the Premier League game.
Fabregas referred to Zinchenko’s contribution to Eddie Nketiah’s opening goal against the Red Devils, who joined Arsenal from the reigning champions Manchester City in the summer of 2022.
“Don’t underestimate the importance of Zinchenko because he showed up twice,” Fabregas stated regarding Zinchenko during half time.
He played twice inside the lines whereas someone else would merely put the ball into the box.
After the game, the former Arsenal player said, “Zinchenko, what a game! The way he plays his football as a left-back, I know exactly why Arteta brought him in for things like that.”
Oleksandr Zinchenko is a crucial member of the Arsenal squad and will be essential to the club’s efforts to win the Premier League this year.
The winning mindset of the left-back will be crucial for Arsenal in the second half of the season.
At the top of the Premier League standings right now, Arsenal is ahead of the reigning champions Manchester City.
