With the summer transfer window drawing near, Liverpool is reportedly interested in Alexis MacAllister.
After playing a significant role in Argentina’s World Cup victory in December, the Brighton & Hove Albion player is now one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe, according to Echo.
Football Transfers reports that Mac Allister’s father and agent was also sighted at Anfield alongside club representatives as Liverpool played Real Madrid in the Champions League last month.
According to Revelo, Liverpool and Chelsea are the two Premier League teams who have recently had “deeper interactions” with Mac Allister’s team.
They also claim that the Argentine is prepared to advance in his career.
After winning the World Cup earlier this year, the 24-year-old, who is under contract with Brighton through January 2025, addressed his future.
Mac Allister said: ““I try not to read too much [speculation]. I always say I am happy here, I don’t have any rush to leave. I feel really good, I’m really grateful with this club, my teammates and all the people who work here. I’m just focused on the next game and this club.”
