Manchester United interested in signing Joao Felix from Atletico

Joao Felix is most likely to join Manchester United in January, claims journalist David Ornstein.

David Ornstein has reported that Felix of Atletico Madrid is the clear and most likely target for United in their search for a striker on a tight budget.

Through a deal for Joao Felix of Atletico Madrid, Manchester United may land another high-profile acquisition.

Felix might be on their radar as a long-term addition to bolster their front line.

Due to a clash between play style and tactics, Felix has not fared as well in Madrid as he had hoped. The disciplined, defensive strategies of Diego Simeone are vastly different from his own style.

Felix’s new club search is the responsibility of agent Jorge Mendes. His leaving Atletico Madrid might happen as soon as January.

2019 saw Felix move from Benfica to the Spanish capital in a pricey £113 million transaction. Despite recent struggles, he was once seen as a pillar of the Atletico side.

According to reports, the Portuguese international has made up his mind to leave, and the administration may be prepared to cave.

Due to financial worries following their elimination from the Champions League, Atletico Madrid would be seeking a significant profit from a sale.

In place of Cristiano Ronaldo, Felix would bring fresh creativity into the United attack.

Felix might perform a similar function to Dusan Tadic in Erik Ten Hag’s former Ajax squad.

Felix, who Jurgen Klopp calls a “excellent target,” could be crucial to Manchester United’s quest for a Top 4 position.

Felix would probably cost more than £100 million, especially in light of his outstanding World Cup performances.

Manchester United, which is notorious for its penchant for spending lavishly, would probably be able to afford a high asking price.
