According to reports from the Daily Mail, Former Chelsea and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is open to a Premier League return and there are four interested clubs.
The report adds that the French international would particularly favour a move to a London Premier League outfit when his contract with AC Milan expires at the end of the season.
Giroud, 36, enjoyed prolific spells in the Premier League for both Arsenal and Chelsea before making the move to Serie A giants AC Milan back in the summer of 2021.
The veteran, who became France’s all-time leading international goalscorer during the World Cup in January, helped fire the Italian giants to the Serie A title last term with 11 goals in Serie A.
With 11 goals and 6 assists to his name in 30 appearances across all competitions this season, the AC Milan has proven that he still has what it takes to perform at the highest level, with four of those goals arriving in the Champions League.
Manchester United were heavily linked with a transfer for Giroud earlier this season, before ultimately opting to loan out Wout Weghorst, however the Daily Mail says the player prefers a London switch.
As such, West Ham and Crystal Palace are light on attacking options, and could be interested in his services, while he can also reunite with his ex-Chelsea teammate Willian at Fulham, who are flying high this season under Marco Silva.
It remains to be seen where Giroud will be plying his trade next season, but he’ll be a valuable addition to any of the aforementioned team and a big coup.
