Despite speculation that he is a target for Tottenham Hotspur, Oliver Glasner has indicated that he won’t be leaving Eintracht Frankfurt before the start of the following season.
On Saturday, Spurs put on yet another disappointing performance as they lost 3-2 to Bournemouth at home.
Tottenham didn’t really gain anything when they fired Antonio Conte last month, and things have mostly stayed the same under Cristian Stellini.
Despite the obvious dissatisfaction among Tottenham supporters, the North Londoners appear to be going forward with their hunt for a new manager while Stellini finishes the season.
Oliver Glasner is one name that appears to be in the running for the position; according to journalist Ryan Taylor, Tottenham is a big fan of the 48-year-old.
Glasner has since said he intends to stay in Germany past the season’s end, though.
Glasner gave a hint that he anticipates staying with Eintracht Frankfurt for the upcoming season while speaking to ZDF, as Derek Rae reported.
“I assume I’ll still be sitting on the bench here next season,” he said.
Glasner doesn’t appear to anticipate moving anytime soon, despite Tottenham’s interest in him.
